What We Do

DatingNav is an independent editorial site that reviews, compares, and ranks dating apps. We evaluate platforms across features, pricing, free-tier value, safety practices, and user sentiment — and publish the findings publicly so you can make an informed choice before you hand over your time and money.

We cover the major apps — Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, Match.com, eHarmony, Zoosk, SilverSingles, OkCupid, and more — along with niche platforms for specific demographics and relationship goals.

Our Editorial Stance

Every ranking on DatingNav is produced by our editorial team. Platforms cannot pay to appear higher in our lists, and affiliate relationships do not influence our assessments. We earn a commission when you sign up through our links — at no extra cost to you — and that revenue funds the research.

We try to be honest about what we don't know. Dating app outcomes vary enormously by city, age, and how you use the product. When we say "Hinge is better for relationships," we mean based on design intent, user demographics, and aggregated community feedback — not a universal truth.

How We Evaluate Apps

Our evaluation framework covers seven dimensions: features and UX, free tier value, pricing and value, user demographics, safety and verification, AI and matching quality, and relationship intent fit. Each platform is scored on a 0–5 scale per dimension, with scores weighted by user goal.
